For Dr. Choi, nothing is more satisfying than reassuring a patient who is in pain that everything will be fine and then using his skills to fix their problem. He loves it when someone says, “That’s it?” after he’s completed a procedure, and he looks forward to giving you the same type of experience at Endodontic Group of Bloomfield. Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?

Dr. Choi knew he wanted to become a dentist immediately after his first dental appointment. The people, the technology, the artistry, and the opportunity to serve all appealed to him, and he knew a profession that combined each of these elements would be the ideal fit for him.

Where Did You Study Dentistry?

Dr. Choi completed his undergraduate education at Boston University before going on to earn his dental degree from the prestigious Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He then received his specialty training in endodontics at the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine.

Always working to learn and improve, Dr. Choi is currently an active member of the American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, and the American Academy of Endodontists.

Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?

Dr. Choi is proud to call Ridgewood his hometown, and when he isn’t serving patients, you’ll usually find him playing golf, watching soccer or football, or spending time with family. Fun fact: Dr. Choi can speak Korean fluently!
